The IntelliGolf Eagle GPS Option adds "GPS and Bluetooth" support to your existing IntelliGolf Birdie edition version 9.x software for Blackberry-based smartphones. It is perfect for use on the Blackberry 7100-series, 7700-series, 8100-series (Pearl), 8300-series (Curve), 8700-series, 8800-series, and 8900-series of smartphones.
If you own an IntelliGolf compatible GPS receiver (see the GPS tab at www.intelligolf.com) or GPS-enabled Blackberry smartphone (e.g. BB 8800, etc), you will surely want to add the Eagle GPS software to your existing Birdie edition version 9.x installation. It will provide you with the ability to view distances and track shots from tee-to-green with GPS accuracy on your smartphone for GPS-enabled courses.
IMPORTANT: The Eagle GPS Option software requires that a live original of the IntelliGolf Birdie edition version 9.x software is installed and running on your PC and smartphone.

The IntelliGolf Birdie edition version 9.x (handheld, desktop, and sync) software includes the 6 S's of golf:
- Scoring;
- Shot tracking;
- Sidegame wagers (35+);
- Statistics and graphs (250+);
- Signature courses (24,000+), and
- Sharing of information between handhelds.
The IntelliGolf Eagle GPS option will add the 7th "S" of Golf to your existing installation of IntelliGolf:
The IntelliGolf Eagle GPS Option software will add the ability to view distances from tee-to-green with GPS accuracy using industry-leading GPS receivers on your smartphone. With a compatible GPS receiver attached to your smartphone, IntelliGolf will provide you with GPS distances from any location on the fairway/tee box to the 200, 150, 100 yard/meter markers, to the front, center, and back of the Green, and up to three (3) custom fairway locations (e.g. dog-leg) for GPS-enabled courses. Without a GPS receiver, IntelliGolf's new IntelliGPSŪ technology will automatically predict distances to the 200, 150, 100 yard/meter markers, and to the front, center, and back of the Green from the Tee Box. As such, you do not have to own a GPS receiver to start enjoying the benefits of the IntelliGolf Eagle option today. Club selection has never been easier.
